Gregg and Mary Labrecque
Are local entrepreneurs. Gregg is a fine artist and has designed & created murals in several states and throughout southwest Florida.
Mary has been in the fight for justice and answers since the mid 1980s. She helped develop some of first residential programs in the country for autistic teens. In 1990s she helped open the first 13 post acute residential programs for traumatically brain injured teens. In 2020 Mary developed an international education exchanges programs with US hospitals and neurological facilities from around the world.
Upon relocating to Sarasota in 2018, Gregg and Mary became community activists engaged in the fight to end child sex-trafficking.
The Labrecque’s have hosted a series of public awareness and educational events with Cathy O’brien and other nationally renowned speakers and activists. In January 2025, they founded the Child Protection Collaborative of Sarasota in an effort to put a stop to the horrific crimes against children that plague our society.
